Adi lands at the airport, where he encounters Jiah again, but, they are unable to get over Rahul's death. Finally, after some hard thinking, Jiah visits Adi in the village and convinces him to stop brooding over Rahul's suicide, stating that he was so dejected with life that he ended up messing with Adi's life as well. Adi visits the camp, but, there are not much funding available, so Joe and KD come up with the idea of organizing a rock concert with some known bands to raise collective funds. However, as soon as Mahender, the state welfare board chief, who had earlier gotten into an egoistic argument with Adi, learns of this, he orders an ambush on the concert venue, thus ruining everything.
After the release of the first film, a sequel was planned to be made. However, a follow-up went through prolonged development hell for almost 8 years. According to Rampal, this was because "it was important to figure out the story."[6] The idea of the sequel was to have the same characters, but explore where they are now after 8 years.[6] Pubali Chaudhuri spent 3 years writing the script.[7] During the development phase, the film was initially intended to take place in Himachal Pradesh, but following the attacks of Manipuri students in Delhi, the producers decided to alter the film's setting. Saudagar was watching the incident on the news when Akhtar pinged him up where the two discussed on the issue. Neither him or Akhtar had been to the North East before, but Kohli who had visited many places there, so he suggested Meghalaya and Shillong, as Shillong is also called the "rock capital." Initially, the decision was met with some resistance. Saudagar remarked that the main intent was to bring the North East to Hindi cinema and also highlight the issue of people facing in the state.[7]
Principal photography began in Shillong, Meghalaya on 6 October 2015 and the film was shot in numeours other locations in the eastern part of the state, including Umniuh Village in Ri-Bhoi district, Cherrapunjee and Laitlum.[18] Prior to filming, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Excel Entertainment and the Government of Meghalaya in July 2015.[19] Since the script demanded picturesque, mountainous locations, Sidhwani chose Shillong and its adjacent places in the state of Meghalaya as the ideal locations. Sidhwani visited the state in February 2015 for scouting filming locations.[20] In an interview with The Northeast Today, Akhtar stated that Shillong was the natural choice because of its close history with music saying "we all know that Shillong has a huge history with rock music and it was an obvious choice for the movie,"[21] while Saudagar said this was due to the city's passion for rock music.[8] The film was initially set to take place in Himachal Pradesh.[7] By August 2015, the whole cast and crew had arrived in the city to begin production. Akhtar mingled with the people in the villages in order to understand their way of life.[19]
I absolutely adore the music in this movie way more than the first one. The songs are just catchy and hold so much emotion. Camp Star was clearly better than Camp Rock but Camp Rock definitely had some amazing songs. The Jonas Brothers were really funny and sweet this time around. I loved that Shane (Joe Jonas) let go more in this one. Nick and Kevin were great and made me smile throughout. Mitchie's character could have been thought out more thoroughly. I wish she would've not been so rude to Shane. However, I do think she made up for that. The story was not as great as the first yet still held up. Overall, this movie is definitely worth it for the choreography, songs, and acting. It will put a smile on your face.
Everybody is back to camp. The girls are now friends. The Jonas Brothers bus falls into the water and they arrive with the chickens. Star Records owner Axel Turner has opened high intensity Camp Star opposite Camp Rock and stole most of their staff. The kids volunteer to be camp counsellors. Tess joins Camp Star as one of its leading performers. Mitchie accepts a challenge from Camp Star in a televised competition. As a sequel to a moderately successful Disney movie, this does what it's supposed to do. It has a bigger villain. The performances are bigger. It's bigger but less. The only aspect I like is them being camp counsellors. That's the natural progression that this sequel should embrace from the start. Everybody including Tess could return as counsellors to a new crop of rugrats. Disney has plenty of them. Tess could be forced to go by her mother. I keep picturing Wet Hot American Summer. It would certainly be less raunchy but it could have been fun. This is not fun. This is far from fun. I don't understand the perceived danger from the competition. They're going on TV and it can't hurt. Win, lose, or draw. They get their faces on TV. The lack of danger takes away the stakes. The trick is for the losing camp to close up shop as part of the bet. It's good that this is the final jam.
I read through quite a few reviews. More than that even. & it amazes me that someone can give a review on something that they themselves admitted to never seeing in their own review....you can't judge something if you haven't actually seen it.This movie is a Disney channel movie. Plain & simple. It follow all the Disney channel rules. It's a high school musical type movie. I, personally, loved both films. They're not for everyone. But I won't stand for someone giving a 1 star review of a movie that they admitted in their review to never having seen. That should automatically be grounds for deletion. Your bad review, especially considering you gave it 1 star, tanks the whole rating of the movie. Just Bc you had to put your worthless 2 cents in on a movie you never saw. Take the movie for what it is. & nothing more. It wasn't in theaters. So you shouldn't expect a big deal like that out of it. It's geared towards kids. Let it be that. Don't down it Bc that's what it is.Also...I personally love me some Jonas brothers & Demi Lovato. & I was & still am a fan of this movie & the previous movie.

One year after the events of the first film, Bodi and his friends Darma and Germur, have formed their own rock band "True Blue" at Snow Mountain, Bodi's idol Angus Scattergood has returned to England to spend more time with his mother, and his arch-nemesis Linnux returns to seek his revenge. The sheep villagers and most of the wolves, formerly from Linnux's pack, have taken up residence and are huge fans of True Blue, including a pair of teenage red pandas named Wei and Shumai. Although there are many individual rock guitar, electric bass and drum kit multisample libraries on the market (some of them very good), I was unable to find any collections other than the MOR titles that combine these three types of instrument within one package. It appears therefore that the only true alternative to Ministry Of Rock 2 is the original Ministry Of Rock. 2b1af7f3a8
