An existing connection to a remote database in Navicat was working using a domain name for the SSH > Host field. After building a new remote server and pointing the domain at the new IP address (and setting up the database and users, as well as adding your public RSA key to the new server), Navicat doesn't trust the key hash from the server. Replacing the entries in ~/.ssh/known_hosts doesn't help.
When you connect with Navicat, it is connecting through a user and port that enables it to look at a single database at a time. It is not a replacement for the application (phpMyadmin) that is installed on the server for that purpose. You can build a library of connected databases using remoteMySQL connections, but it will not list all of the databases for you to open like phpMyAdmin does. I hope this helps to explain it. You can connect to the MySQL directly with VPS and Dedicated servers, and even some shared servers using SSH. Remote connection is done through programs such as NaviCat or HeidiSQL. None of these methods use the cPanel itself.
I noticed by default LocalDB server always creates an instance named MSSQLLocalDB when started. I've searched the internet but couldn't find the exact solution for my problem in Navicat premium software.
I've installed only LocalDB server. Is it not a SQL Server native client? I don't want to install both LocalDB server and MS SQL Server Express Edition as I have no need of SQL Server Express Edition.
